FSGS: Life Expectancy of Someone on Dialysis or Kidney Transplant
Basically, the kidneys are made up of millions of cells called glomeruli, which filter the blood and expel toxins out of the body. What FSGS does is causing scarring of the glomeruli which results in the cells to stop filtering the blood and cause the build up of toxins and fluid.
