Creatinine 235 and Urea 13 in FSGS: How to Lower Them
Normally, healthy adults’ creatinine level ranges from 62~115, and urea ranges from 2.5 to 8.0. Both creatinine 235 and urea 13 are much higher than the normal, this means at least 50% of FSGS patients’ kidney function has lost. Please, don’t worry. In this case, several methods can still help lower them.
1. Oral western medicine
In western countries, many medicines can help reduce creatinine and urea levels. For example, ketosteril can reduce the production of creatinine and urea, so as to lower them. Besides, some medicines can help increase kidney excretory amount, taking away more waste products.
2. Oral Chinese medicine
Some Chinese medicines also have the effect of lowering high creatinine and urea levels in the blood. For example, astragalus membranaceus can prompt kidneys to eliminate more waste products including creatinine and urea. Compared with western medicines, certain Chinese medicines are able to repair damaged kidney cells and improve kidney function level gradually for FSGS patients.
3. Herbal tea
Herbal tea is one good home remedy to remove waste products for FSGS patients. Nettle leaf, dandelion root, corn silk, salvia, and so on, all can be consumed as herbal tea to lower high creatinine and urea levels.
4. Hot Compress Therapy
This therapy is used at kidney area, so as to improve blood circulation all over the body especially kidneys. As more blood flows into kidneys, glomeruli can filter more blood every minute and more waste products and toxins can be eliminated out.
Immunotherapy focuses on treating FSGS from the root and rebuilding kidney filtering system. Once kidneys recover to work normally, creatinine and urea levels will come down spontaneously.
Of course, it doesn’t mean FSGS patients should take all of the above methods to control their illness condition. To know which one is suitable for you, you can consult the doctor here through emailing to kidneyservice@hotmail.com.
