How does diabetes cause Kidney Failure?

About 20 to 30 percent of people with diabetes develop kidney disease (Diabetic Nephropathy). Without timely and proper treatment, this kidney disease will progress to Kidney Failure.

Firstly, a raised blood sugar (glucose) level that occurs in people with diabetes can cause a rise in the level of some chemicals within the kidney. These chemicals tend to make the glomeruli more “leaky” which then allows albumin to leak into the urine.

In addition, the raised blood glucose level may cause some proteins in the glomeruli to link together. These “cross-linked” proteins can trigger a localised scarring process. This scarring process in the glomeruli is called glomerulosclerosis. It usually takes several years for glomerulosclerosis to develop and it only happens in some people with diabetes.

What are the symptoms of Diabetic Nephropathy?

Diabetics who have Kidney Failure may experience the following symptoms such as:

-A poor appetite

-Weight loss

-Dry, itchy skin

-Muscle cramps

-Fluid retention which causes swollen feet and ankles

-Puffiness around the eyes

-Needing to pass urine more often than usual

-Being pale due to anaemia

-Feeling sick

Treatment for Kidney Failure

-Dialysis. This is the common method for Kidney Failure patients. It can reduce creatinine and BUN levels in the blood. But dialysis cannot solve the underlying problem.

-Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). We choose natural Chinese herbs that can improve blood circulation so that kidneys can get enough blood volume and oxygen to repair the damaged renal tissues. Based on these Chinese herbs, we also innovate several herbal remedies. Wanna more information? Please be free to contact us!

You can take a look at this patient's report. His creatinine was 1028 and urea level was 39.7 on 2018-12-11; creatinine level was reduced to 331 and urea was 16.1 on 2019-1-5. After about 25 days' treatment in our hospital, his creatinine level was reduced by 697, and urea was reduced by 23.6. Hope his condition gets better and better.

Say goodbye to dialysis

Our Treatment effect

Proteinuria is a common symptom of kidney disease

Mouse over the picture, it can be magnified.

It can make your urine foamy. Although it does not make you feel uncomfortable, it can impair your renal function and make your kidney disease worse. Conventional treatment such as steroids and immunosuppressants can hardly make it negative. In our hospital, systemic Chinese medicine treatment can help you turn it negative. Look at this picture, bubbles in urine become less and less with our treatment going on.
