What are the Early Symptoms of Hypertensive Nephropathy

People who are at age of 40~50 and has high blood pressure more than 5 years has large risk to develop hypertensive nephropathy. Early symptoms helps them make a better outcome in prevention.

Hematuria. Some people may have transient gross hematuria which is caused by the burst of blood capillary. However, patients with Hypertensive Nephropathy usually have no waist pain.

Swelling. Swelling is one of the most common symptoms of kidney disease, but it always be ignored by people. If people with Hypertension find there is swelling on eyes, legs, feet and other parts after getting up, they should pay much attention to it. It is better to see a doctor. Left ventricular hypertrophy. The process of Hypertensive Nephropathy is chronic and it will develop into Renal Failure gradually. Enuresis. At the early stage, enuresis nocturna may increase and then they will have protein urine.

Hypertensive Nephropathy can be divided into two groups: benign arteriolonephrosclerosis and malignant arteriolonephrosclerosis. Long-term high blood pressure can lead to the changes on renal arterioles, that is the benign arteriolonephrosclerosis occurs. Benign nephrosclerosis is most present in people over 60 years old while the rare malignant nephrosclerosis occurs only in 1 to 5 percent of people with hypertension.Benign nephrosclerosis seldom result to Kidney Failure. However, if patients with Hypertensive Nephropathy don't take treatment timely, the high blood pressure may do harm to kidney function.
