Patient with kidney damage often has hyperkalemia, but sometimes also has low sodium in blood, and patient will need to regulate his potassium intake according to his own condition.

5.Phosphorus and calcium intake:

Phosphorus and calcium compete for absorption, and total their product is maintained in constant range. The increase of calcium will cause the decrease of phosphorus, and it is the same in the other way round.
