Question: I have IgA Nephropathy since last 8 years and take deltacartill. Now my creatinine value is 3.2. Doctors prescribed ketosteril tablets and mucolator (acetylcysteine) sachets. What Doyou think?
Answer: I have to tell you that no certain medicine is totally safe for IgA Nephropathy patients.
Both ketosteril tablets and mucolator (acetylcysteine) sachets are steroids that are used to reduce proteinuria and improve immunity and is commonly recommended when patients’ glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is less than 25 ml/min.
Long term and large dosage of ketosteril and mucolator will cause more wastes in the body and burden the kidneys. More over, you may also experience some adverse side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, headache, etc. More important, these medicines cannot repair the damaged glomeruli, so they are not the best treatment.
In that case, I recommend you to take natural Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). These are herbs that mostly come from plants. By combining many herbs that are good for repairing kidney function, we made several new treatment for IgA Nephropathy. Among these therapies, Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy is the mainly used treatment for them. This therapy is an external application, taken by nephrologist with osmotic device. It can improve blood circulation and fight inflammation on glomeruli so as to improve GFR (glomerular filtration rate).
