Question: The creatinine level of one of my relative after pregnancy operation went to 7 mg. Doctor says it is Kidney Failure. Is there any chances of saving kidney. Please help!
Answer: Thanks for your inquiry. Serum creatinine indicate how well your kidneys are functioning. The normal range of the creatinine is 0.5-1.1mg/dl for female and 0.6-1.2mg/dl for male. In clinic, creatinine 7mg/dl means you are in End Stage Renal Disease (Kidney Failure). Is dialysis or kidney transplant a necessary? Well, I do not think so.
First of all, there are many factors the doctor should concern about when they decide to take dialysis. Your kidney function, creatinine level, GFR (glomerular filtration rate), and complications (high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease). Creatinine 7 normally cause severely kidney damage and generally need dialysis. Well, can dialysis save your kidneys? It depends. But I have to say dialysis is not the best treatment to lower creatinine 7.
Here I recommend you take Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy that is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This therapy has overcome the disadvantages of dialysis since it is used externally. By expanding the blood vessels, it can improve the blood circulation so as to help the kidney discharge more wastes and toxins, including creatinine and blood urea nitrogen (BUN). What’s more, this therapy cannot relieve symptoms but also can improve kidney function by repairing renal intrinsic cells. This the the difference of Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy from dialysis.
