Dialysis helps prolong patient’s lifespan but also brings side effects. So I can understand why patients want to stop dialysis. However, what else can I do when my dialysis stops?
What will happen when dialysis stops?
If there is no kidney function (rather than partial kidney function), death may occur over about a week after stopping dialysis. I do not recommend you stop dialysis immediately. As long as you still have remaining kidney function, you still have hope of reducing or even stopping dialysis.
What else can you do?
In our hospital, we mainly use Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). By far, we have developed a holistic treatment for kidney disease patients. I would like to introduce you briefly. Any questions, you can email to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a message below.
1. Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy. It is an external application used on bilateral kidney areas (Shenshu acupoints). With penetrant liquid and osmosis device, the effective ingredients can permeate into kidney lesions directly. They have the function of anti-coagulation, anti-inflammation, expanding blood vessels, and degrading extracellular matrixes, thus increasing the whole blood circulation. Then, kidneys can get enough blood volume and oxygen to function well.
2. Stem Cell Therapy. Stem cells are original cells that can differentiate into many other functioning cells. When they are delivered into through intravenous infusion, they can help repair damaged renal tissues and regenerate new kidney cells. So it is also helpful for improving kidney function.
As long as kidney function improves, patients can reduce dialysis gradually. When kidney function is improved higher than 15%, patients do not need dialysis. The above therapies are only parts of our holistic treatment, and they are only available in our hospital that is located in China.
