Albumin 2+ and Creatinine 2.2 for Diabetics: What to Do

What is albumin 2+?
Albumin in the urine is used to estimate the degree of kidney damage. When the amount of albumin ranges from 20 mg/l to 200 mg/l, the urine protein of urinalysis presents negative (-) or (+-). This belongs to microalbuminuria and indicates kidneys have begun to be damaged. If the urinalysis presents urine protein positive (+) ~(+++), it means albumin in the urine is above 200 mg/l. In this case, there must be a large amount of protein leaking out, and diabetics’ kidney disease may become irreversible in the near future. If left alone, diabetics may have kidney failure quickly.
What does creatinine 2.2 mean for diabetics?
According to creatinine levels, chronic kidney failure is divided into four stages. Creatinine 2.2 indicates renal decompensation period, or stage 3 chronic kidney disease. In this condition, diabetics are more likely to develop high blood pressure. In addition to high blood sugar, high blood pressure can also speed up the progression of kidney disease into kidney failure.
How to deal with these problems for diabetics?
In this case, some western medications can help reduce albumin excretion and creatinine level obviously. However, these problems may appear again and again, because they are unable to reverse kidney damage.
